NGPRC students have to undergo a 3-month practicum in order to become certified mentors and obtain their Master’s degree.
The practicum provide a realistic setting to help candidates put their understanding of mentoring principles into real practice. Therefore it provides an ideal opportunity for candidates to reinforce what they have learned during classroom discussions and research.

The NGPRC has also implemented a virtual practicum to face the Covid-19 crisis.
The NGPRC provides also mentoring tools, such as observation forms, templates of lesson plans etc. to facilitate classroom observations and enhance the work of the mentees. You can download those tools here.
